Buy Canon MP610

The Canon Pixma MP610 is from Canons latest range of multifunction printers. The first thing you notice is the impressive build quality - a really solid feel to it. The printer is however on the large size so if you're very short of deskspace this might be a problem - the dimensions are approximately 45cm Height x37cm Width x 55cms depth. Despite it's size it really does look rather smart and stylish - it tucks away nicely and looks much better than many plastic smaller printers.

The Canon MP610 is no slouch and if printer speed is one of your priorities then you won't be dissapointed. The MP610 can print a photograph in about 90 seconds which is extremely quick and text documents rattle in a few seconds.

However speed is irrelevant if the print quality suffers but fortunately with the Canon MP610 this is not the case. Photographs are crisp and clear and are difficult to differentiate from a Photographic Lab - black and white is excellent with great results on most types of standard inket paper.

In this price bracket - the printing results were comparable with anything else on the market. The Canon MP610 also offers a colour photocpying function and tests produces excellent results on these with a variety of document types.

The Canon Pixma printer has many useful features - Pictbridge support means you can print directly from a Digital camera or a memory card. You can also do some basic editing functions directly on the printer - such as simple crops and some color enhancement.

Surprisingly for a printer in this range - the Canon Pixma MP610 also offers Duplex printing - which means it can print on both sides of the page. This very useful feature is not that common on inkjet printers,

Another excellent little bonus is the ability to quickly print directly onto CDs this is great for making copies of your photos without having to mess around with CD burning software.
