Changing Your Life with Internet Marketing

Now really this sounds a load of old rubbish to most people,  and do you know what – most posts with that title would indeed be a load of rubbish – but not this one.  So my story –  I am making money with Internet marketing and this year I have started doing it full time.  However at no point was I many thousands in debt, I wasn’t living in a cheap hotel room, I didn’t have an empty fridge (although my waistline might have appreciated that).   In fact I was doing pretty well, I’d been an IT Consultant for about 20 years, made good money but at the price of travelling a lot and being away from home.

So I wanted to change my life because I was bored with computers, bored with being away from home and wanted to do something interesting. Now here I’d like to raise a small red flag to warn you – Internet Marketing definitely has it’s advantages but to be honest it’s not that exciting.   All the Gurus you see hyperventilating over their next new product are either brilliant liars or have a different perspective on life than me and probably you.    Internet marketing won’t change the world but it can make you a living.

This is what it’s all about, it’s a living and possibly a very good living but it’s certainly not easy.  So it does actually take work, although the monetary outlay can be a lot less than perhaps starting a business in the real world – the work involved is probably more.  So if you aren’t prepared to invest many hours initially to achieve your goal, I’d save yourself the bother.

I have spent about 30 hours a week for about 2 years to be able to choose to do this full time.   There are lots of clever bastards who do it much quicker apparently, and some probably did.  But please consider although I had no marketing skills none of the IT stuff involved was very difficult for me – if you haven’t got good computer skills – some little tasks might take some time.

Anyway the point of this post is don’t buy any product or service that promises you untold wealth for little effort – they are all lying.   If you are having a bad time and do need to try and make money from your home computer then – yes it is perfectly possible with some initiative and hard work.  Don’t spend lots of money though to start out on  your journey, if you find a product that you think might be ok, step back and analyse, make sure they’ve got some money back guarantee and do some searches on the internet.  Be careful of most review sites online though as they will usually be good because they’re affiliated with the product and get a kickback if you buy.   If you want some help before buying – mail me at – info(at)ngbconsult.co.uk and I’ll either buy it before or check it out for you.  Before you spend money be very, very sure it’s what you need.
